It's not Spring Fling, but ... Posted by Kristi at 1:41 PM (11 Comments)

This past weekend, I didn't go do more on the trapeze. I also didn't go to St. Louis to go to Spring Fling with Cookie. Instead I went to an autocross school. Sadly, the pictures from the autocross school didn't turn out that well. I was mostly busy driving or being a passenger. Here's one of Andy before his first run through the course:

AutoX

On Sunday, I let Clinton do the daredevil stuff. He came with me to Debbie's house and hung out with her Samoyeds while we took pictures of yarn for her stash on Ravelry. Let's just say it's a work in progress. Here's the dogs when they found something they could all agree on: Food is Good. Boris adored Clinton; followed him everywhere like a big fluffy shadow.

Doggies!

I also finally finished the Trystero sock, and it will be shipped off to Shelridge Farm tomorrow:

The Brooklyn Handspun sock yarn is all wound in a ball and ready to be cast on! Now, what should I do this weekend to make up for my Maryland Sheep and Wool envy?

I love the sock! The color of the yarn is amazing.

Andy sure looks like he's having fun in the autocross (what the heck is an autocross anyway? - I'll have to look it up).

Love the sock - the colors are really great.

I ♥ Samoyeds! I am not a dog person but I just adore Samoyeds and if we had more room and didn't have to be gone all day working, I'd have one for sure.

Maybe we can have our own yarn and fiber festival this weekend. :-)

I love hounding my friends to take pictures of their stash for Ravelry so I can ogle it. Those Samoyeds look so fluffy!

Niels loved the picture of the dogs and started blowing kisses to it. He said he likes the littlest one the best. :)

Hi there! Just received my notice about the latest Knitty surprise. Can't wait to knit myself a pair of Froot Loops! They're gorgeous and I definitely see froot loops in the pattern. :)

Congratulations!

My parents teach autocross schools, although they weren't in CO this weekend so you must not have had them. Too bad since my mom is a knitter (and it's fun to have a woman's perspective on driving). Hope y'all had fun - autocrossing isn't my thing, but I think that's from over exposure as a kid.
